Our August meeting was hosted at BrickFair NOVA 2024. We kicked things off with a meet & greet for exhibitors to learn more about NOVA-LUG, we then shared a meal together, and rounded off the evening with a massive parts draft featuring Disney’s Wish: Asha’s Cottage (Set # 43231). Members celebrated our first major convention since formally coming together earlier in the year. 

Members brought their fun alternative builds where they took the parts from a single official set and created a unique build from our July monthly MOC challenge! Thanks to everyone who participated and congrats to our winner John S. who built the fan favorite Venator Sword.

Our activity this month was the aforementioned draft which attracted so much participation we had to finish it under the glow of smartphone flashlights as BrickFair’s World of Lights began during the draft.

We had 22 participants join us at the BrickFair NOVA 2024 for our August meeting.
